Comfortable pillows and comfortable in general.
A little far from my girls home.
Close to sea shopping & quality of resort
staff not intrusive. We were not aware that there was no bed making/restocking.We appreciated coffee plunger in room at our request
Staff were friendly and accommodating. The design was modern, relaxed and tasteful, well equipped with all necessary facilities. Walking distance to beach and shops. Good size rooms.
There were some shavers left in the shower from previous guests and beer cap on the coffee table. Would have liked to be able to hire dvds
It was close to the shops and beach, a nice walk in the morning for coffee, not too far for the kids to walk. I would stay again.
Comfortable bed, good heating and cooling, good Tv reception, ideal location close to town
No radio apart from terrible little clock radio
The hotel was every thing it claims to be, which is reassuring these days. Arrived late but received a txt giving clear instructions on what to do on arrival.
The only downside was the hallway acoustics and the sound of room doors opening and closing.
The Resort is in the most amazing location - with direct access to the beach & a less than 5 minute walk to town. Byron can get really busy so the distance from town is an advantage in terms of noise & privacy. The properties right in town are facing a road, a car park, restaurants & a pub so would be really noisy of an evening. The room was so clean, everything worked perfectly & they were generously supplied with all the little extras that you normally need to pay for like dish washing powder, washing powder, salt, soaps & shampoo & conditioner & lots of towels another plus. Bedding was great with lots of lovely, fluffy pillows. Was a delightful experience. I have already re-booked another stay!
How spacious the rooms where, the amazing rounds including the swimming pool and spa, communication with the staff, and and how helpful the staff are.
The location was very good.
I thought the rooms were pretty noisy, we could hear the people above us walk through their apartment.
We liked the position with regards to beach access and easy walk into the town of Byron. We also liked the outdoor spa. The bed was comfortable. It was quite peaceful and quiet so could sleep well.
We did not like the the dirty tiles and grouting in the bathroom! It looked as if it had not been cleaned in quite a while. Also, the floor did not feel clean in the room - gritty. The little patio area was also not swept and could be spruced up a bit. Air conditioner rusted and doesn't look good like that - maybe a coat of paint or a cover of some sort.
Great clean pool with spa for when it rained.
Possibly a little lacking in personality with owners not based on site.
So close to all shops, food, and beach right at the back gate. Walk to just about anything
The staff were always very friendly and welcoming
I felt like the ad for the hotel was a little misleading. The map showed that the hotel was right on the beach yet there was no path directly to the beach. We had to walk in to town to get to the beach. I would not call this hotel beachside.
Room was a bit cold, partner needed extra blankets.
